Terms & Conditions

By submitting a listing or advertisement to CEC Lifestyles Resource Directory Magazine (the "Publisher"), you (the "Advertiser") agree to the following terms:

1. Accuracy of Information

The Advertiser is solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and copyright permissions of all content submitted (including text, logos, and images). The Publisher reserves the right to edit listings for grammar, clarity, or length without changing the fundamental meaning of the advertisement.

2. Right of Refusal

CEC Lifestyles reserves the right to refuse, reject, or cancel any advertisement or listing at our sole discretion, especially if the content is deemed offensive, misleading, or incompatible with the magazine’s brand standards.

3. Distribution & Placement

• Print: While we strive for perfect placement, the Publisher does not guarantee specific page positioning unless a "Premium Placement" fee has been paid and confirmed in writing.

• Digital: The Publisher aims for 99% website uptime but is not liable for temporary technical outages of the online directory.

4. Intellectual Property

The Advertiser grants CEC Lifestyles a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display the submitted branding and content across our print, digital, and social media platforms for the purpose of promoting the directory.

5. Limitation of Liability

CEC Lifestyles is not responsible for any loss of business, damages, or claims resulting from:

• Errors or omissions in a listing (beyond the cost of the advertisement itself).

• The conduct or quality of services provided by the businesses listed in the directory.

• Delays in print production or mailing schedules due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., postal strikes, paper shortages).​

6. Payment & Cancellation Policy

• All Sales Are Final: CEC Lifestyles operates on a strict no-refund policy. Once a booking is confirmed or an invoice is issued, all sales are final.

• No Refunds: No refunds, credits, or prorated adjustments will be issued for advertisements or listings, regardless of whether the Advertiser chooses to withdraw the content before the print or digital publication date.

• Commitment to Production: Because resources, layout space, and production cycles are allocated immediately upon booking, the Advertiser is responsible for the full contract price.

• Default on Payment: Failure to provide artwork or copy by the specified deadline does not relieve the Advertiser of their obligation to pay the full amount due. In such cases, the Publisher reserves the right to run a "placeholder" listing or the Advertiser’s most recent creative asset.

7. Indemnification

The Advertiser agrees to indemnify and hold CEC Lifestyles harmless from any third-party claims, suits, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from the content of the Advertiser’s listing, including claims of trademark or copyright infringement.

CEC Lifestyles Resource Directory Magazine provides listings as a service to the community. Inclusion in this directory does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee by the Publisher. We encourage all readers to exercise due diligence before engaging with any service provider. CEC Lifestyles is not liable for the quality of services, products, or conduct of the businesses listed herein.
